The first thing you should know is that you need to eat the right foods.  Eating fried foods will continue making it difficult for you to lose weight.  And going on diets will hurt you.  You need your nutrition and going on a diet will reduce the nutrients you get.

The third thing you can do to lose weight is get plenty of sleep.  I know it can be difficult when you have a baby.  But try to get at least 7 hours of sleep.  If at all possible, take a nap whenever your baby sleeps.  Sleeping will help rejuvenate your body.  And that is what’s needed when trying to lose weight.
