Snacks can suppress your hunger so you don’t overeat during the major meals. The ideal snacks would be small slices of apples, nuts, and graham crackers.

Contrary to the old school of thought that fats should be kept away when on a weight loss regime, unsaturated fat has been given the green light by some recent scientific studies. Cutting on fat completely will make the body to increase the production of Insulin, which in turn makes you more hungry and wanting to consume more food. Consuming unsaturated fat can repel this effect.

How many times have you seen the claim that a particular diet is the fastest weight loss diet in the world today or similar such claims. Probably hundreds of times I’ve lost count myself but what all of these diets do have in common is the ability for you to lose weight. How fast you lose that weight is entirely up to you.

The next thing you need to do is to keep what is called a food journal. If you have never heard of this before that’s ok. All you do is to write down everything that you eat and drink during the day and the calories that it contains. The reason for keeping a food journal is a very valid one as it keeps in your mind exactly what you have consumed that day. I don’t know about you but I cannot remember everything I eat or drink in a day and this just helps to jog our memories a bit so we can see where we are going wrong in our present diet. This also allows you to see if you have gone over your daily calorie allowance and where to possibly cut back the next day.

 

It is a really great weapon in getting the fastest weight loss diet for you and is worth the time it takes to write it all down at first. When you have done this journal for a while you will be able to see patterns developing in your eating and then you can address those for weight loss.

 

The third thing is to keep well away from the three food groups,Sweet, Fatty, Processed foods wherever possible as these are notoriously high in calories and you only need to eat small amounts of these to put on the calories with ease. There are also issues if eaten in excess for heart and liver problems which are of great concern these days so try to avoid them whenever you can.

There are always healthy alternatives if you feel like snacking like carrot sticks or grapes or apples and nuts too.

 

The last tip is to not eat the traditional 3 meals per day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner/tea. Try instead to eat 6 or so smaller meals spread throughout the day this will have the effect of raising the bodies metabolism and also will not get you picking between meals. Of course if you are peckish then eat fruit, veg or nuts instead of the cookies, doughnuts or burgers.
